The new "Eraser Bill," allows people under the age of 18 to delete embarrassing posts, photos or other online indiscretions that may harm their chances of obtaining employment or college admission. Starting January 1, 2015, social media websites must allow California children to remove their own internet postings. ![]() ![]() While national groups wrestle about e-commerce and internet law issues, California has established itself as a leader when it comes to passing internet privacy laws. Last month, California lawmakers passed new laws that will affect the internet industry and businesses that rely on internet marketing, advertising and online services to customers.
